Our Digital X-Ray machine allow our technologists to take pictures of the inside of your body in order to gather information about your bones, lungs and internal organs.  This is a noninvasive, fast way to view the inside of the human body.  We offer exceptional quality, flexibility, in a convenient, comfortable, and caring environment

What is Digital Radiography (X-Ray)?

Digital radiography uses computerized imaging techniques that provide high quality images in seconds meaning less wait time for you. Digital Radiography also has less radiation exposure as compared to conventional x-ray machines. Because the images are generated by a computer they may be digitally enhanced and manipulated using sophisticated software to extract additional information for earlier detection and a more accurate diagnosis resulting in more rapid and effective treatment. Since digital radiography uses radiation and you are pregnant or think you might be, please notify your physician and our staff immediately

What Is It Used For?

Digital Radiography has replaced conventional x-ray and can be used for all x-rays. X-rays are used to diagnose abnormalities in the body including finding broken bones.

During the Exam

You may be asked to remove your clothing and metal in the part of your body to be x-rayed and given a gown.
The certified technologist will position the x-ray machine near your body and you will be asked to hold perfectly still and in some cases to hold your breath.
