"As a Neurologist, I see many kinds of problems that affect the brain, spinal cord, muscles and nerves. My outpatient practice is focused on headache, both primary headache and disorders such as migraine and cluster headaches as well as headaches which are caused by a specific disease or condition such as infection or tumor. I have participated in 60 clinical research trials, 55 of which have involved headache. I have been actively involved in educating patients and health care providers in the diagnosis of headache. As a migraine sufferer myself I have a special interest in understanding the anatomy, neurochemistry, and physiology of this disorder which afflicts 18-20% of women and 7-8% of men."
