Surgical Oncology is the branch of surgery which focuses on the surgical management of malignant neoplasms, otherwise known as cancer; with or without the combination of radiation treatment. More specifically, Surgical Oncology involves the surgical aspects of cancer including biopsy, testing and surgical removal of tumors.
